Exon Dashboard

Our client was looking to develop an easy-to-navigate and insightful exon dashboard.

Delivery

We worked on aggregating genetic data from Gencode and OmicSoft, mapping it, and annotating it using house-built gene query services that consumed APIs like mygene.info and ensembl. We supported the client in defining a semi-structured data model that suited their need; the data was ingested in a JSON database and presented in a custom Web Dashboard. The solution was containerized from back to front and managed by a container management system for easy scaling.

Value

The exon dashboard we created acted as a web application that offered direct access to a magnitude of genetic information, instantaneously and with high readability.
