Custom LIMS System

Our client was preparing for their new compound library and equipment coming in and needed the proper platform to support laboratory workflows, data ingestion, and analysis.

Delivery

To model their data, we designed a novel solution based on a hybrid repository (SQL/NoSQL) that helped them structure their organizational foundation in a simple and robust manner, while allowing for full flexibility in terms of data and metadata. The repository wasJSON formatted with an evolutive layer of validation which allowed for new metadata to be integrated without having to rethink any part of the model.

Value

The client could ingest their data that came in different formats, from simple column-formatted to proprietary. Without having to think about adapting it to a specific model, they could focus on what data they wanted their users to see and how.
